But like I said before I couldn’t stop reading. It was a little anticlimactic in my opinion. Kit is on the run from a secretive life and it takes the majority of the book before she reveals her true identity. He is a huge hunk of a guy that is intelligent, an excellent artist and happens to be deaf. He follows her and realizes she is homeless so he feeds her and takes her back to his apartment where he lives with his four brothers. Later he finds her again while she is busking at a subway station. She winds up hitting Logan in the nose when he becomes overly familiar with her. Kit comes into the tattoo shop where Logan works as an artist wanting a tattoo she designed herself. Although I found it had a lot of fluff I couldn’t stop reading it and had to see how it ended. Until she has to sacrifice all she ever wanted to save what’s most important to him.This was a very difficult book to rate. Logan’s not disabled but he hasn’t spoken in eight years.
Kit wants a tattoo, but Logan sees more than she intends to share in the drawing of the tat she wants. Kit’s a woman with a mean right hook and a secret. But I can't take what she offers because I need all of her. She sleeps in my bed every night, and drives me crazy with her touch. The way she plays the guitar is unlike anything I have ever seen. But that's not all that I love about her.
She catches my eye because she's so beautiful she takes my breath. Not unless I want them to come and get me. But they're mine, and I can't share them.
But he won't let me have a darn thing, aside from his friendship, unless I'm willing to tell him my secrets.
Yet I've never felt more safe than I do when I'm with him. Logan lives with four brothers in the inner city. He's pretty persuasive, though, and he convinces me to go home with him so he can keep me safe from this harsh city where I find myself. There are too many people looking for me. Logan wants to know my name, but I can't tell him. ***This New Adult book is intended for audiences over the age of 18 due to adult content**
